No bake cookie recipe

chocolate, peanut butter, oatmeal no bake cookies

This is my favorite recipe for cookies on one of these hot summer days.  This recipe is a very simple recipe and it wont heat up your house.
Chocolate peanut butter oatmeal drops
ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup peanut butter crunchy or creamy
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick cooking oats
Bring butter, sugar, milk and cocoa to boil. let boil for exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds.  Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and peanut butter. Then stir in oats.  Quickly drop with spoon or ice cream scoop onto wax paper, foil, or parchment paper.  Let cool then store in ziplock bag.
Enjoy,  Kathi

Time for a Holiday Cookie Swap

Who's in for a Holiday Cookie Swap?  Me, me I'm in.  I just love all things about Christmas cookies, the taste, the smell, the look, the feel.  I love making them, giving them, getting them, finding new kinds, flavors, textures.  I could go on and on.  Here is a Festive collection to see, and if you see something you like go check out that shop to see what other goodies you might find.

Quick & Easy Strawberry Cookies

I found this recipe  for cake mix cookies one day when I was looking for something sweet to make but it couldn't have flour (because I was out) and I came across this recipe.  The first time I made them I used a golden cake mix  and I didn't add anything to them but when they were done I put this yummy brownie frosting, they were so good.  So today I am making them with a strawberry cake mix and I added some strawberries.  I used 5 strawberries (cleaned, destemmed, and diced up) put them in a little pot added 1 Tbls. orange juice (because thats what I had) and 1 tsp. sugar (optional) cooked over low heat for 3-5 min. stir them often and squish them down.  You could use strawberry jam if you don't have fresh berries.   Let cool.  add the strawberry mixture to the prepared cookie dough, mix together.  Bake as directed on the recipe.  Oh yummy, first batch is done, they smell amazing and such a pretty pink color.

Frosting to die for ............. yummmmmmmmmm

This is the most amazing frosting I have ever had.  If you love chocolate the way I do then this is a must have recipe, and the best part is .................... no not low calorie (I'm sure its full of calories) the best part is that it is so easy to make. I found this recipe at allrecipes .  I used it on my daughters birthday cake a few days ago, and it was amazing.  So, today I used it on sugar cookies:

Its just like a dollup of fudge on a crisp sugar cookie.  It is amazing!
I am getting ready to list some of my purses on Artfire again.  Not all of them, just one page worth (my favorites).  This will happen sometime this coming week.  I'm hoping it will make my Artfire studio look nicer and much easier to navigate, page 1 will be purses, page 2 will be beading supplies, and page 3 & 4 will be my beaded jewelry. I'm working on taking new and better pics before I list the purses.  I'm having a clearance sale at my artfire studio right now, 33% off all beaded jewelry and supplies.  That will end when I start listing my purses this coming week.
If anyone tries the recipe let me know what you think.
