Artfire Front Page

I was so excited to see the collection I made on the front page of Artfire yesterday.  I hope you go check out these different shops I found, I love each and everyone of these lovely treasures.  Did you see that gorgeous vintage lace sequin dress, it even comes with a matching jacket, if your a size medium get it before its gone.  How about that beautiful water lilly, aren't the colors stunning.  Look at the flower and bee photo, amazing. These vintage purple painted maracas are so cool, I know you want them.  Which one is your favorite?

I started my facebook page, if you would like to see it here it is:

Pretty, but can't sell.

I have been working on small projects lately because the last purse I made turned out to be one that can't be sold.  It sheds so bad, every time I sat down to work on it I ended up covered with purple fuzz.  The technique I tried didn't work out this time.  I like the look of it so I will try again, and I will try to correct the shedding problem.
so this is a pic of the purple and black wool fabric before
This next one is after layering and close rows of stitching then cutting

This one is that beautiful piece of purple with black wool fabric

And here it is 95 % finished.isn't it pretty.  I'm thinking of using it as a picture on my avatar just because its so pretty.  The beaded handle came from a string of beads from Grandma.

Colorful Kitties Flap Wristlet ~ Bright Colors Cats Purse Charm Pockets

I've been working on a new purse, its made with the corduroy kitty fabric.  It is a wristlet similar to the other little charmers except I am putting a flap on it and a couple of magnetic closures.

Its cute, but I'm having difficulties with the closure, I'm using a magnetic closure on this bag but I don't want the magnetic closure to show, at least not on the front of the purse. The way it is now there is 1 layer of fabric between each piece of the closure.  That means to close there will be 2 layers of fabric between the magnets and although it sticks its not secure enough that I would feel confident that it wouldn't pop open.  I know, I know I will have to fix it, the closure will show on the under side of the flap but not on the front of the purse.  I hate the thought of doing that because it means a lot of ripping out to get to the inside of the flap and take out the closures and put them where I want them and then putting the purse back together again.  But I think it would be secure with only 1 layer of fabric.
Ive been trying to get my etsy shop up to speed, its coming along. I did a few listings today and I added some links to other items, not sure if that was a good idea or not but we'll see.

New Shop ~ Etsy ~ Treasury ~ Bracelet

I have opened a new shop to sell my handmade purses, jewelry, mouse pads, etc.  I have just begun to fill it with items this week.  While I was looking around I found this section called treasury, its a section that is put together by other artisans on etsy.  To my surprise this morning I was going to look at some of the treasury collections, and I was included on one of them. I was selected to be on one put together by otterbaby (thank you otterbaby).  Here is the link to the treasury I am included in, check it out and click on a few of the items in the collection.  I love the little crochet baby dress (although I have no need, I appreciate all the work that it takes to make something like that).
This is my new shop on etsy just remember I'm just starting to put it together kathisewnsew on etsy  .

This bracelet is made with fluorite, I love the shades of purple and whites, and if you hold it up in the light theres a hint of green.
