Gift Ideas
I am working on my jewelry bags today I have them cut out, I did 5 different fabrics all sheer, light, pretty. I'm doing more of the pink with white, green and a little yellow floral on the pink like this one
except this batch has light pink ribbon. I'm working on a white sheer with fuzzy white flowers and a touch of green, this one the fabric is tricky to sew, I think I will change the needle that might help. Well, I just went and took pics of the jewelry bags in their current state.
I'm also making some sheer orange, sheer green, & sheer yellow.
I need to get back to that. I've been working on some gift ideas & guides on my ArtFire blog, Gifts for the Desk. These are items I searched for a few days ago and I really liked and wanted to share.
I got my first follower, Yay. Welcome.

Stocking Stuffer Ideas
I always end up waiting till the last minute to get stocking stuffers, but I think I'm going to start early this year so that I can get some cool, interesting, and not the typical stocking stuffers. I think I'm going to do all handmade things for stocking stuffers this year, from some of my handmade candy to buying stocking stuffers on ArtFire. I put a collection of stocking stuffers together this morning. Enjoy and check out some of my fellow artisans.
Have a great Monday. Kathi

Its almost halloween, are you ready?
Wow time is flying by, were heading into the end of Oct. I have so much to do, I need to start a list so that I stay on top of things.
1. Halloween ( I need to get the front of the house spookified and get trick or treat candy, AND NOT EAT IT, LOL). My Artfire studio has been spookified, check it out. I did the banner and avatar myself.
2. moms b-day gift (have an idea what I am making but can't share it here yet. I will post about it after her b-day).
3. Hubby's b-day (no idea yet, I need to get the idea so I can buy what I may need ).
4. Thanksgiving (it will be different this year, my daughter will be with her boyfriends family, not sure about oldest sons plans, our youngest son will for sure be there).
5. Swedish sausage day. This is the day my sister her family, my family all of the kids and spouses, kids kids, and Mom all get together the beginning of December to make & stuff swedish sausage (a family tradition) we also have an ornament gift exchange that is quite fun. (I will write a whole post or two about this family tradition sometime in the next month). More about that later.
6. my b-day
7. Christmas shopping
8. Christmas cards
9. Christmas tree choosing, cutting, pizza, set up tree, decorate tree, water tree (don't forget to re-water frequently.
10. Christmas
Well, I think thats enough listing of things to do, makes me tired looking at it. I will update this list in future weeks leading to the New Year.

busy busy busy
I have been very busy since I found an abandoned kitten last week. Its like having a baby, all the care and attention it takes. So far so good, I think she is about 5 weeks old now. Not much time today, but if you want to read a little bit about her check it out here on my ArtFire blog.
I'll try and make a little time tomorrow and write something, oh I don't know, interesting.

Summers into Fall
Its about time to start bringing out the fall decoration. I have pretty fall colors valances to go over my white curtains. Looking forward to setting things up, getting the pumpkins that will be used for decoration for Halloween and cut up, cooked, mashed and frozen for those wonderful fresh pumpkin pies. I can almost smell the pumpkin and spice scenting the house.
I'm looking forward to friday, my shop will go pro, Yea........... can't wait to try out the different tools that I'll have access to, the new blog , facebook kiosk. I'm really more excited than this dull post sounds like. I'm also going to work towards getting the Handmade artifact, so much new stuff to explore.

Pretty, but can't sell.
I have been working on small projects lately because the last purse I made turned out to be one that can't be sold. It sheds so bad, every time I sat down to work on it I ended up covered with purple fuzz. The technique I tried didn't work out this time. I like the look of it so I will try again, and I will try to correct the shedding problem.
And here it is 95 % finished.isn't it pretty. I'm thinking of using it as a picture on my avatar just because its so pretty. The beaded handle came from a string of beads from Grandma.
so this is a pic of the purple and black wool fabric before
This next one is after layering and close rows of stitching then cutting
This one is that beautiful piece of purple with black wool fabric
